All Data forwarder services have a /devices endpoint used to create a new forwarder device owned by the device that authenticates the request. The above example request creates a new Splunk Forwarder.
To create a new device, post to the /devices url with the authentication of the device that will "own" the forwarder. Make sure to take note of the uuid and token returned by this request!
If you use your Octoblu account UUID/TOKEN, the new device will also appear under your "Things" as well as the Forwarder UI
Congratulations! You can now Subscribe this device to other devices, and those device's messages will be forwarded to Splunk!
